Es dürfte sich bereits herumgesprochen haben, dass ab dem Jahrgang 2000 der ehemalige technische Leiter von Chateau Latour, Christian Le Sommer, die Weinbereitung auf Le Pupille beratend übernommen hat und Riccardo Cotarella abgelöst hat. Somit wird die Fattoria Le Pupille weiter spannend bleiben. Zudem wurden komplett neue Betriebsgebäude bezogen, ein altes landwirtschaftliches Anwesen wurde von Elisabetta und Stefano in mühevoller Arbeit umgebaut und in den Urzustand zurückversetzt. Störend war ein grausamer alter Getreidespeicher der auf der anderen Straßenseite stand und unter Denkmalschutz stand. Stefano kaufte kurzerhand das Gelände und dann passierte das Missgeschick, dass ein großer Bulldozer rückwärts fuhr und an dem Gebäude hängen blieb ... jetzt ist die Sicht frei! Das ist halt Italien! Doch zu den Weinen. Bereits der einfache Morellino begeistert enorm. Was Stefano und Elisabetta, die Besitzer von Le Pupille, und mit unsere besten Freunde des Weinbusiness, hier produzieren, ist wirklich bemerkenswert. Die Passion für große Weine und dieses enorme Qualitätsstreben findet sich nur selten. Schade nur, dass mittlerweile die hohen Bewertungen für eine extreme Verknappung sorgen. Freuen tut es uns trotzdem für Stefano. Gratulation und mach weiter so! |
