Chateau Clos Marsalette |

Stephan Graf von Neipperg ist Ihnen mittlerweile geläufig. Clos Marsalette ist eine kleine Perle in Pessac Leognan, an der Graf von Neipperg bereits seit 1992 beteiligt ist. Man könnte fast meinen, er wählt die neu akquirierten Chateaux nach der Entfernung zu Canon la Gaffeliere aus, Distanzen spielen bei seinem Fahrstil ohnehin eine eher untergeordnete Rolle. "Step by step", wie der Franzose zu sagen pflegt, wird hier die Neipperg´sche Weinbereitungs-Philosophie implementiert. 6,3 Hektar sind mit 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot und 5 % Cabernet Franc bestockt. Winzige 0,8 Hektar einer Weissweinparzelle sind je zur Hälfte mit Sauvignon Blanc und Semillon bepflanzt. Nachdem das Neipperg-Team im Jahr 2002 auch die Verantwortung im Weinberg übernommen hat und wie auf allen gräflichen Gütern biodynamisch arbeitet, werden die Weine von Jahrgang zu Jahrgang besser. Dies schlägt sich auch in den jüngsten Bewertungen nieder, allerdings noch nicht in den Preisen. Das ist ein "Top-Value", würden die Amerikaner sagen. Die Weinbereitung der Rotweine erfolgt auf traditionelle Weise in kleinen wärmeregulierten Holz- und Betontanks, der Ausbau bis zu 18 Monate lang in Eichenfässern (50% neue Fässer). Sie sind fruchtig, harmonisch und ausgewogen und erlangen nach einigen Jahren in der Flasche die für Pessac Leognan Weine typische Eleganz. Graf von Neipperg zu Clos Marsalette rouge: "Diese Weine sind schön ausgewogen und rund, harmonisch und großzügig, hervorragend geeignet für die Gastronomie." |
