Eleganter Gaumenfluss, für einmal Ähnlichkeiten mit dem d’Armailhac, schmeichelnd und gastronomisch, mit einer leicht blumigen Note endend, leicht zu unterschätzen."

THE WINE ADVOCATE: "This outstanding effort displays loads of cassis fruit interwoven with notions of espresso roast, white chocolate, and menthol. It possesses a terrific front end, good mid-section, and moderately high tannin in the finish. Approximately 15,000 cases were produced. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2025."

WINE SPECTATOR: "Raspberry and blackberry aromas follow through to a medium- to full-bodied palate, with velvety tannins and a caressing finish. Best after 2010. 8,500 cases made."
