JANCIS ROBINSON: "Very attractive development. Juicy. More advanced than most. Readable and easy. Great balance."

THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER: "Medium/full bodied, tannic, with rusticity sensed in the tannins, as they are not fully ripe. While there is cassis, blackberry, some tobacco and earth, a touch of underripeness is tasted and felt in the finish. Tasters who do not like ripe wines, or who prefer more traditional styled Bordeaux, will like this better than I did. This is the last vintage before Bruno Borie took over the estate. This blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon and 18% Merlot is probably fully mature. There is not much reason to let it age further."

WINE SPECTATOR: "Aromas of tobacco, currant and cigar box follow through to a full body, with silky, refined tannins and a clean, focused finish. Caressing and very pretty. Coming together now. Best after 2010. 17,500 cases made. —"
