DECANTER: "Serious depth and feeling on the attack leads to lovely silky tannins and rippling fruit expression. Among my favourites of the 'non-1855' wines in the lineup, this demonstrates a lovely drinkable quality that the 2011s have acquired over the past year or so. It doesn't have huge depth, but there's lift, light and freshness. Enjoyable stuff from owner Laurent Vonderheyden. Drinking Window 2020 - 2034."

WEINWISSER: "Dunkles Granat, recht satt in der Mitte, rubinroter Rand. Florales Bouquet mit Wildkirschen und Himbeergelée, Rosenpfefferkörner und feine Honigspuren. Cremiger, saftiger Körper mit noch ganz fein aufrauenden Tanninen, das Potenzial ist recht gut."
