THE WINE ADVOCATE: "The Rayne-Vigneau 2007 seems initially unsettled by the performance of the 2006, on first acquaintance more closed and taciturn. Leaving it to one side, over the following 15 minutes it flowers and offers very attractive scents of white peach, apricot and lemon curd. The palate is medium-bodied with a fine bead of acidity. It is a little compact and unresponsive toward the finish, but there is certainly impressive focus. It is just a Sauternes wine that needs to say more, so I suggest another two or three years in the cellar because there is immense potential. Drink 2015-2025+ Tasted April 2013."

WINE ENTHUSIAST: "A wine that is bright with the freshest orange and lemon flavors, followed by liquid honey and fine apricots. It is perhaps light, but it is certainly delicious."

THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER: "Apricot, orange, citrus, honey suckle and overripe tropical fruit, lush textures and a sweet, honey coated citrus and tropical fruit finish, good acidity, freshness and length."

WINE SPECTATOR: "There´s loads of sliced green apple and pineapple on the nose, with spices. Full-bodied and medium sweet, with toasted almond and botrytis spice character, followed by a cooked apple and citrus finish. Dense and beautiful. Best after 2013."

JANCIS ROBINSON: "Light gold. Floral nose. Good weight and an edge of lime. Manages to be racy as well as heavyweight. Still quite chewy."
