  "Wild and carnal, the 2018 Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru offers up an incipiently complex bouquet of cassis and cherries mingled with nuances of coniferous forest floor, smoked meats, violets and licorice. Full-bodied, multidimensional and searingly concentrated, it's layered and muscular, with a deep, textural, richly tannic profile that's already seamlessly integrated: the only missing ingredient is time."

  "One of a glittering line up of Grands Crus from Dugat-Py in 2018, this entirely whole bunch-fermented Mazis-Chambertin hails from three different parcels with an average age of 75 years, totalling 0.3ha. Loïc Dugat-Py thinks this can be difficult to taste young, but I respectfully beg to differ. Fresh, perfumed and spicy, it's floral, succulent and sappy, with notes of avatar of roses and wild strawberry sweetness."
