Juicy and alive in the glass, this has lots of fresh, succulent blackcurrant and black cherry with strawberry touches. Excellent acidity and life, pulsing with energy. I like the detail, it still has grainy, tight tannins that leave a mouthcoating impression and give some tension to the overall expression, but there is lots to like here, it has finesse and elegance as well as salty terroir touches on the finish. Feels well worked with a light touch, despite the vintage, they didn't push too hard and you can't tell it’s 15% alcohol."
Aromas of currants and blackberries with licorice, vanilla and nut shell undertones. Medium-bodied with fine, chewy tannins and chalky texture. Toned and balanced with vivid acidity and a crunchy fruit character. Flavorful finish. 80% merlot, 15% cabernet franc and 5% cabernet sauvignon. Drink or hold."
Coming from more limestone soils and 65% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon, raised in 40% new oak, the 2020 Château Le Pin Beausoleil offers a beautiful, medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated style as well as ample darker cherry and berry fruits, notes of graphite and chalky minerality, nicely integrated oak, and a great finish. It has a terrific sense of salinity on the finish and is going to evolve nicely for a decade."

The 2020 Le Pin Beausoleil (80% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Franc and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon) offers up an attractive bouquet with aromas of raspberry, cassis, spices and blueberry and is less heavily toasted than previous vintages. Medium-bodied with juicy texture, lively acids and freshness, it’s well balanced with a long, lively finish. Calcareous soil has tempered some of its density."
