In der Nase entfaltet der Jahrgang eine beeindruckende Aromenvielfalt aus reifen Blaubeeren, Kampfer und Lakritz, begleitet von subtilen Noten von Cedar, Tabak und schwarzen Johannisbeeren. Am Gaumen präsentiert er sich wunderbar konzentriert und tiefgründig mit einer cremigen Textur, die von Anisaromen und Mokkanoten durchzogen wird. Der elegante, mittlere Körper mündet in einen weichen, polierten Abgang von ausgezeichneter Länge. Ein harmonischer Wein, der durch seine Ausgeglichenheit besticht und sich nach Belüftung in der Karaffe vollständig entfaltet.

As it sat in the glass, it took on an almost Ducru-Beaucaillou or Leoville-Las Cases St.-Julien-like character, with notes of minerals, cedar wood, black currants, tobacco, and spice."

Hold for eight to ten years; this wine should keep til 2020."
