THE WINE ADVOCATE: "The 2015 Chardonnay Trocken **** is very deep, clear and complex on the nose where ripe fruit flavors are displayed. Full-bodied and with a very firm structure, this an intense but refreshing and finessed Chardonnay with great purity and aromatic length. The power is well dosed and there are so many minerals and crushed stones on the palate that I wouldn’t touch this wine before 2020. This gorgeous Chardonnay has even more purity, salt and verticality than the three-star version that is more on the fruity, rather than mineral side. The finish is very long and intense, with mocha and nutty flavors."
