  "Sattes Purpur-Granat, dicht in der Mitte, lila Schimmer aussen. Geniales Bouquet, das Nasenbild weist eine rahmige Fülle auf, herrlich viel dunkle Waldbeeren und auch eine ganz verführerische Cassisnote ist enthalten. Im Gaumen ist dieser sehr elegante Wein voller Charme und gebündelter Textur. Und so genial klingt er auch aus. Es ist also möglich, sehr aromatische Weine zu produzieren, ohne dass gleich die Tannine den Hauptteil des Weines darstellen. Damit meine ich ein paar extrahierte Nachbarn. Wer diesen Wein kauft, wird in etwa acht Jahren ausflippen."

  " The 2014 Faugeres still has bundles of red plum and juniper berry on the nose, if anything even more generous than when I tasted it a few months ago. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, superb structure and well judged acidity. It merges with more black fruit towards the finish and has palpable energy on the finish - still excellent.
