    WEINWISSER:"Strahlendes Goldgelb mit grünen Reflexen. Was für ein erotisches Parfüm nach frischer Kaiser Alexander-Birne, Akazienhonig und Butterscotch. Im zweiten Ansatz Madagaskarvanille und eingelegte Kumquats. Am königlichen Gaumen mit einer royalen Eleganz, wirkt trotz der Fülle leichtfüssig wie Muhammed Ali und hat dann zur richtigen Zeit den Punch für ein lang und immer länger werdendes Finale mit Sahnebonbon, Pampelmuse und Cointreau-Likör. Hat mich schon während der Primeurs völlig in seinen Bann gezogen und nimmt zu Recht die Pole-Position in der Appellation ein!"

    JEB DUNNUCK:"The 2017 Chateau Suduiraut is 94% Semillon and 6% Sauvignon Blanc, with 240 grams of residual sugar. It has rocking botrytis notes of honeyed citrus, orange blossom, white flowers, and caramelized peach. These carry to a full-bodied, beautifully pure, precise Sauternes that has good acidity, flawless balance, and just fabulous purity of fruit. It's a brilliant Sauternes."

Presumably AXA allows the property to make the best wine possible without counting the cost, but still…"
