  "Metallic, graphite, wet stone nuances on the nose. Juicy and fresh, lovely, bright and zingy acidity makes an impression straight away. Clean and crystalline, lovely purity to this, a joyful quality. Succulent and supple, a gorgeous burst of strawberries, raspberries and red cherries; it's a riot of red fruits. Direct in terms of flavour precision with slightly grippy, chalky tannins giving the frame and structure. Polished, a touch of heat on the finish and a slight spice still from the oak. Refined."

  "The 2020 Château Peymouton is based on 79% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon, all from a 31-hectare parcel of deep red clay soils. It has a healthy ruby/purple hue as well as good complexity in its ripe cherry and redcurrant fruits and notes of cedarwood, green herbs, and tobacco leaf. It's nicely balanced, medium to full-bodied, has ripe tannins, and solid length on the finish."
