WINE ENTHUSIAST: "A beautifully ripe wine, layering all the dense botrytis of the vintage with freshest acidity. It has weight, the texture of grainy honey, ripe yellow fruits, mango and orange zest. Impressive and certainly for aging."

WINE SPECTATOR: " This is so thick and dense, with an ultrarich palate of dried lemon, apple pie and toffee. Full and spicy, yet not overly sweet. Very powerful and long. Blockbuster comes to mind. Best after 2014."

THE WINE ADVOCATE: "Tasted single blind against its peers. There is a little sulphur on the nose of the Sigalas-Rabaud 2007. It comes across as quite tight at the moment but it possesses good definition with touches of guava and dried pineapple. The palate is medium-bodied with a fine spicy entry, quite cohesive with honey, ginger and a touch of marmalade. With good length and persistency towards the finish, this is a very fine, mid-weight Sauternes. Tasted January 2011."

JANCIS ROBINSON: "Simple, sweet, lemony and such depth and length."

THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER: "Medium to full bodied, with an assortment of tropical fruits with honey and spice, the wine ends with sweet, ripe, orange, pineapple and honey notes."
