WEINWISSER: "Leuchtendes Gelb mit goldenem Schimmer. Warmes Birnen Mark dahinter Aprikosenkonfitüre und Orangenzesten sowie Mandarinenöl. Am Gaumen mit perfekt stützender Frische, dadurch sehr elegant. Der reife Extrakt ist perfekt eingebettet und endet in einem langen Crescendo. Grossartiger Sauterneswert dieses Jahr!"

THE WINE ADVOCATE: "The 2017 de Malle gives up lovely lemon mint and orange peel notes with wafts of musk perfume and lime leaves. Lively, pure, layered and refreshing in the mouth, it has bags of class and great length."

WINE SPECTATOR: "Very unctuous and ripe in feel, with creamed papaya, mango and pineapple flavors draped over notes of coconut, white ginger and acacia. Broad finish. The showy fruit makes this fun to drink now. Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle. Drink now through 203. Tasted twice, with consistent notes."

JAMES SUCKLING: "Medium body, a sweet and dense palate and sliced apples, peaches and caramel on the finish. Bright acidity."

JANCIS ROBINSON: "Very strong botrytis aroma of orange and apricot. The palate is the same, gorgeously rich in apricot fruit. Chewy texture and all to play for but the intensity of flavours and the freshness promise a long future."
