The 16% Cabernet Franc is unusual for Pauillac but gives a strong backbone. Less clay than the other estates, leaving a richness on the finish that reflects the vintage. Immense tannins but also immense finesse in the tannins. Stay away for some time. This is all savoury and mineral. Deep-fruited underneath. Massive wine that will reward patience."
