THE WINE ADVOCATE: "The 2015 Feytit Clinet is composed of 94% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc and aged for 15 months in 70% new and 30% one-year-old French oak barrels. Deep garnet-purple in color, it has a lovely nose of crème de cassis, preserved plums and wild blueberries with touches of baking spices and dark chocolate plus a waft of roses. The medium to full-bodied palate is opulent with firm, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long."

FALSTAFF: "Dunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung, intensive Röstaromen, etwas Mokka, schwarze Beerenfrucht, Gewürznoten. Mittlere Komplexität, saftig, integrierte Tannine, Herzkirschen, etwas Nougat, bleibt haften."

WEINWISSER: "Sattes Purpur-Granat, dicht in der Mitte, lila Schimmer aussen. Extrem röstiges Bouquet, Brombeeren und Cassis, dahinter viel Mokka. Im Gaumen übertüncht die moderne Vinifikation fast den Wein. Aus Erfahrung kann man da aber auf die sichere Karte setzen, wenn er seine Röstaromen einmal abgeschüttelt hat. Der Rest stimmt."
