This ripe, sexy Saint-Emilion offers a big, fleshy, full-bodied profile that carries lots of blackcurrant and blueberry fruits as well as notes of Asian spices, dried tobacco, and cedarwood. Despite being a rich, powerful wine, it has beautiful overall freshness and purity, no hard edges, and a great, great finish. It’s a killer bottle of wine to enjoy over the coming two decades or so."

With an hour of decanting, the wine softens, fills out and you find a fresh, concentrated, full-bodied, vibrant wine with ample ripe, dark red and blue fruit, espresso, dark cocoa, dusty tannins and a touch of salt on the palate. The freshness, length and mineral character in the end notes hit all the right notes."
