"Concentrated dark fruit and liquorice notes on the nose - smells ripe and expressive.Lovely purity of fruit, really clean and precise in terms of flavour and texture - tannins are sleek and really drive the wine from start to finish. Feels well proportioned, not too light or too heavy but with sinewy muscle and an undertone of cool blue fruit, crushed stones and hints of espresso. The 15% alcohol is barely noticeable and this is very charming in a rich, almost plush, heady way."
