  "An attractive and still youthful wine with an impressive structure and intensity. Mouthfilling and succulent with a bright juicy freshness balancing sumptuous strawberry, plum and cherry fruit edged by liquorice, black chocolate and a salty stone minerality. Tannis are chalky and soft filling the mouth with texture and this ends with a lovely bitter stone and flint note. A joy to drink but this has plenty of further ageing potential."

  "Complex aromas of dark and dried fruits, plums and dried meat. Full body with a dense palate and refined tannins. Decadent but fresh: a beautiful contrast. One of the best ever from Trotte Vieille. Decant at least three hours in advance."

  "Dunkles, dichtes Rubin-Purpur mit lila Schimmer. Noch verhaltenes, aber kompaktes Merlot-Würzbouquet, Teernote, recht tiefgründig, im Moment leicht hölzern. Fest, kalkige Terroirnote, feinsandig, sehr gutes Alterungspotential, neben Fruchtbomben ohne Chance. Also: unbedingt warten bis zur Genussreife."
