  "Really very good indeed. Deep crimson. Meaty and savoury with just a hint of that velvety texture that so many 1990s exhibit. Quite a high tannin content but these are ripe, well-masked tannins.

  17 RENÈ GABRIEL´S BX TOTAL: "01: Extrem tiefe und dichte Farbe, fast schwarz in der Mitte. Ausladendes, fülliges Cassis- und Brombeerenbouquet, dunkles Caramel darunter, weich und bereits sehr harmonisch in der Nase. Im Gaumen samtig, veloursartiger Fluss, wieder eine herrlich reife, blau- und schwarzbeerige Fruchtnote, Lakritze, Black Currant, parfümierte Süsse in den Tanninen. Wie lange wird es wohl noch dauern, bis man dieses Château, welches in den letzten Jahren immer eine hervorragende Leistung erbracht hat, wieder entdeckt? Kann sogar noch einen Punkt zulegen. 17/20 2006 – 2020"
