"Unwinding in the glass with notes of pear, waxy citrus rind, hazelnuts and stuck flint, the beautiful 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Charrières is medium to full-bodied, satiny and pure, with a bright core of fruit, racy acids and a long, saline finish. This cuvée derives from the upper part of a climat directly below premier cru Vide Bourse, planted with old vines on SO4 rootstock that now, in their old age, produce low yields of small grapes."
