With some obvious oak influence, loads of dark fruits, chocolate, and earthy aromatics, it’s medium to full-bodied and shows the classic, focused style of the vintage yet still packs some serious fruit. Drink it over the coming 7-8 years."

Chateau Clos Dubreuil

Clos Dubreuil (Zweitwein Anna) ist im Besitz einer der ältesten Winzerfamilien in Bordeaux - mittlerweile in 15. Generation. Im Jahr 2001 sollte sich Benoit Trocard auf Geheiss seines Vaters ein kleines Weingut anschauen, das er entdeckt hatte - Clos Dubreuil. Trocard war damals 23 und er musste nur einen kurzen Blick auf die Weinberge des Guts werfen um zu wissen, dass das seine Zukunft war. Er stürzte sich mit Begeisterung in die Arbeit, vergrößerte und modernisierte den Betrieb und änderte ein wenig die Cuvée. Vor dem Kauf durch seinen Vater bestand der Wein nahezu komplett aus Merlot, inzwischen sind 20% Cabernet Franc und 5% Cabernet Sauvignon enthalten.

Zum Weingut
