  "Recht dunkles Gelb mit erstem Goldschimmer, brillant. Weit ausladendes Bouquet, eine Schale voller gelber Früchte, vor allem Mirabellen und helle Aprikosen, üppiger Honig, die Süsse ist dramatisch, wirkt aber nicht schwer im Ansatz. Beim zweiten Kontakt findet man helle Edelhölzer. Im Gaumen eine volle Ladung, das Extrakt ist mit einer vollcremigen Süsse ummantelt, noch ganz feine noble Bitternoten im extrem konzentrierten Extrakt zeigend. Da ist ein Potential für ein halbes Jahrhundert drin. Mindestens! Ein sehr satter Wein, der dann in etwas grösseren Mengen genossen, wohl auch in seiner Jugend «etwas satt» machen wird."
