„Shows a ripe raspberry fruit, with a menthol edge, firm tannins, fresh acidity and plenty of extract. This should drink within a few years and make a wonderful wine for mid-term cellaring. This south-facing parcel of 0.7ha was originally planted in 1936 although 20% was replanted in 1982. Despite the aspect it is fairly late-ripening. 60% of the grapes were fermented as whole clusters and the wine is aged in 45% new casks."
„The 2020 Pommard 1er Cru La Platière is a medium to full-bodied, deep and vibrant wine evocative of orange rind, rose petals, red berries, plums and raw cocoa. Framed by bright acids and fine, powdery tannins, it concludes with a long, saline finish."
