  The 2022 Lucia, 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, is deep garnet-purple in color. A little muted to start, it soon unfurls to offer a pretty perfume of wild blueberries, Morello cherries, and violets, plus hints of cardamom and clove oil. The full-bodied palate has a solid structure of ripe, round tannins and compelling tension to support the generous fruit, finishing long and fragrant."

  Darker red and black fruits, spicy oak, chocolate, and savory herb notes all emerge from the 2022 Lucia, a classic wine in the vintage that's medium to full-bodied, has a round, layered mouthfeel, nicely integrated oak, and a great finish. The 2022 is 90/10 Merlot and Cabernet Franc, raised in 40% new oak. Give bottles 2-4 years in the cellar and enjoy over the following decade."
