  High toned and ripe aromatics - perfumed, sun-kissed black fruit with hints of vanilla and black chocolate. Rich and ripe on the palate, blackcurrant and plum fruit is joined by softly fleshy tannins that caresses and fills the palate. It's full of Pomerol glamour but with a restrained touch meaning you get the voluptuousness but with cooling freshness too. Elegantly presented, this is appealing and will definitely find fans."

  Soft, creamy, supple, and plummy, the wine is medium-bodied, elegant and with more sweetness, and flesh than usual. The freshness in the finish gives everything lift. This will be quite nice to enjoy in its youth and over the next 12 -15 years or so. Drink from 2025-2037."

  Bright and vivid black fruits on the nose, with soft and gourmet tannic architecture. Expect blackberry and black cherry fruits, a charge of grilled oak, good quality, approachable, no need to wait too long - these are ripe fruits with a flash of heat on the finish. 12ha of vines, harvest September 12 to 16, 40% new oak, Vignobles Bernard Moueix, with winemaker Claire Moueix."

  The wines of this Pomerol estate are now made by Claire Moueix and her husband Cyril Basteau, and in 2022 they have fashioned a wine with a nose full of lightly confit blackcurrant fruits, sweetly dried cranberry and a little dressing of sandalwood oak. The palate begins in a style which mirrors the nose, with a supple and juicy palate, filled with red flowers and dried berries, before a dense extract of tannins come in through the middle. A wine of dense, warm and peppery grip which dominates the finish. I would like to see a little more freshness here, and I am not sure that fruit profile will stand up to those tannins. But we shall see."
