JAMES SUCKLING: "Attractive violets and red plums intermingled with charmingly spicy and toasty-oak aromas. The palate has a very plush, round and deeply fleshy feel to it. Elegance with density, chocolate and mulberry flavors to close. Effortless length here. Try from 2022."

WEINWISSER: "Extrem dunkles Purpur mit lila und violetten Reflexen. Wunderbares Bouquet, es duftet nach reifen schwarzen Kirschen und nach schwarzen Johannisbeeren. Im Gaumen dunkelmalzig, auch recht viel Mokka. Reiche, aber schmelzige Tannine, das Finale ist sehr aromatisch und entsprechend lang. Ein unglaublicher Wert aus dem Satellit Montagne-Saint-Émilion. Das würde sich somit lohnen, den Winzer Grégory Naulet auf seinem 5 Hektar kleinen Weingut zu besuchen."

DECANTER: "Sweet, sumptuous and exciting aromas, with ample oak but balanced by poised raspberry and plum fruits and roast meat notes. Rich and hedonistic on the palate with bags of ripe, plush fruit. A magnificent effort. Drinking Window 2019 - 2026."

THE WINE ADVOCATE: "The 2015 Vieux Château Palon has a well-defined and crisp bouquet with perfumed black cherries and red plum fruit, the oak well integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, real substance here and a lovely, caressing, licorice-tinged finish that has plenty of energy. Modern in style, well crafted and long, this is a delicious Montagne Saint Emilion."

Saftig, reife Herzkirschen, gute Balance, integrierte, reife Tannine, schokoladiger Nachhall, gute Länge, vielversprechendes Potenzial."
