"This has a nice briary edge, with a core of cassis, blackberry and damson plum fruit. The solid, chalky spine shows up on the finish, offering a nice range of lightly toasted spice notes. There´s good energy here, with a lingering whiff of mint at the very end. Not bad for a wine that was released at $20 back in the day.—Larcis Ducasse non-blind vertical (December 2012).
