  FALSTAFF:"Ohne Zweifel ein großer junger Dom: Helles Grüngelb, noch etwas heftig in der Perlage, zunächst zart vegetal, rauchig, zart nussig unterlegt, Erdnüsse, noch sehr frisch, die Nase klärt sich hin zu einer opulenten Steinobstfrucht, gute Mineralik, am Gaumen ganz jung, zeigt sehr viel Frucht, das wird in zehn Jahren eine richtige Granate, man kann nur hoffen, dass ihn sich ­viele einbunkern."

  „Very green. Real autolysis character – very Dom P, very flattering! Surprisingly sweet on the palate though which jars a bit. Or is this just the richness of the vintage? Certainly this is the easiest wine to drink so far in the tasting… Very persistent mousse. Lots of interesting components all in balance. Quite long."

Creamy, lush and nutty with a nice combination of yellow citrus, tropical fruits, apple and honeysuckle, the wine feels as if it has already started gently fading away."

Seems very young and fresh—capable of extended aging, but precocious for Dom, with enough fruit to make it pleasurable now. Supple and creamy in the mouth, this wine shows no sharp edges, yet boasts an extraordinarily long finish."
