WEINWISSER: "Deutlich aufhellend, ziegelrote Verfärbung, breiter Rand.

JANCIS ROBINSON: "This was very impressive – although note the suggested drinking bracket. This is a very long haul wine, but definitely one of the more successful candidates from this extremely tannic vintage. The wine looks fully mature and has a thoroughly exciting complex nose with just the right amount of lift. Lots of richness on the nose and greta extract but very dry, dense chewy tannins – still! But the fruit density suggests this will make a great drink – eventually."
