  "Ein tiefes, dichtes Violett mit fast schwarzen Reflexen. Traumhaftes, tiefes, mit Palisander- und Zedernnoten gespicktes Bouquet, Teeraromen, Trüffel, getrocknete Heidelbeeren. Dichter, konzentrierter Gaumen, gut stützende Muskeln in der burschikosen Adstringenz, etwas spänig wirkende Gerbstoffe, Kraft zeigend, momentan noch mit einer gewissen Schwarzschoko-Bitterkeit im Finale, immenses Potenzial. Power wie ein Coonawarra-Cabernet aus Australien (was nicht abwertend gemeint ist), ein «kleiner Latour», einer der besten Clerc Milons der Geschichte."

  "Cedar, burning embers, licorice, black currants, and espresso notes jump from the glass of this dense ruby/purple-colored, firm, tannic, powerful, and muscular style of Clerc-Milon. Quite virile, a bit angular, but at the same time packed and stacked, full and concentrated, this impressive blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot actually has higher alcohol (13.2%) than the 2003. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2020+"

  "A solid wine that is drinking well at 12 years of age. Lots of fresh, ripe cassis, forest floor, tobacco, cherries and earth. Soft, charming and vibrant, this is quite nice today. The wine was produced from a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot."
