  "Youthful Sauvignon aromas dominate the nose at first (hardly surprising since this is 100% Sauvignon) but this is followed by an amazing combination of sweetness and weight which follows the initial green impact and a lovely satin texture. This wine manages to be amazingly refreshing considering its natural alcoholic strength of 14.2%. Very long, this positively vibrates o the palate. Paul Pontallier feels this is the best vintage yet – and certainly with the vines replanted by the Mentzelopoulos regime at the end of the 1970s, vine age must really be playing a part."

  "Has beautiful aromas of mineral, flint, lemon and sliced red apple. Full-bodied, with lovely fruit and clean, ripe acidity. Shows hints of cream and vanilla, with a rich, balanced finish. Drink now."

  "Blasses helles Gelb. Trockenes Vanillebouquet, Mirabellen, Pfirsich, dicht und füllig, momentan noch etwas zurückhaltende Frucht. Im Gaumen viel Stoff, jetzt mehr Frucht zeigend, cremiges Extrakt, sehr gut balanciert, wie in der Nase auch im Finale wieder leicht trocken."
