Im gebündelten Finale ein voller Korb mit Schattenmorellen, Heidelbeerdrops und Eisenkraut. Eine unglaubliche Energie strahlt der Roc des Cambes dieses Jahr aus. Chapeau François Mitjavile!"

  "The 2019 Roc De Cambes is deeply colored, powerful wine based on 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, all from the Côtes de Bourg appellation. This fleshy, full-bodied effort has loads of chocolate-covered cherry, blueberry, toasted spice, tobacco, and espresso aromatics, a mouthfilling texture, soft tannins, and a beautiful finish. Already hard to resist, this pleasure-bent 2019 will keep for 15+ years. It's in the same ballpark as the 2018."

  "The 2019 Roc de Cambes has turned out brilliantly, offering up aromas of cassis, sweet berry fruit, cigar wrapper, first floor and rich spices, followed by a full-bodied, layered, elegantly muscular palate that's deep and concentrated, its fleshy core of fruit framed by ripe acids and ripe, powdery tannins. This is a terrific effort that may nip at the heels of the 2016. Despite its modest appellation, don't hesitate to cellar this, as Roc de Cambes is invariably better integrated and more interesting with a decade on the clock than on release."

  "A blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2019 Roc de Cambes is medium to deep garnet-purple in color. Cedar and charcoal notes give way to vague notions of juicy plums and baked blackberries with a waft of bay leaves. The full-bodied palate has a solid structure of chewy oak tannins, with plenty of fruit to back it up and a spicy lift on the finish."
