Intensives, dichtes, nach schwarzen Kirschen, Dörrbananen und Brombeeren duftendes Bouquet, florale Cabernet-Würze, Fliedernoten, schwarzer Pfeffer, Tabak, nicht sehr breit, aber in seiner eleganten Art sehr konzentriert. Im Gaumen sehr blaubeerig, Vanilleschote (gut integrierte Barrique), viel Stoff und Fleisch, süss ausstrahlende Adstringenz, cremige Gerbstoffe, bereits als junger Wein eine gewisse Genussreife vermittelnd, im Finale Napa- Cabernet-Süsse, wunderschöne Harmonie, kann in der Genussphase noch einen Punkt zulegen."

Although medium to full-bodied and moderately tannic, it lacks the expansiveness in the mid-palate necessary to be truly great. Moreover, the tannin is slightly aggressive, although that is hardly unusual in such a young Latour. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2030."
